I have changed a few things in the great room as usual. These were simple changes.
These are the lamps and a demijohn that were on the sofa table when I shared the great room reveal not long ago.
I swapped the lamps with these that I had put in the master in January and haven't even shown them to y'all yet. I bought one thinking I would just use the one in another place, but then I ordered another one so I would have the pair. I had them on my dresser, but on a whim I tried them here and liked the look. I also added my concrete urn filled with live ivy to soften this area.
This is my extremely heavy, old, and chippy concrete urn I found last summer.
These lamps are metal, but made to look like wood.
I am loving the change.
Which lamps do you prefer?
You can see more of the before look here.
Have you made any small changes or maybe big ones?
Then I hope you will come back tonight at 7pmEDST to join Wow Us Wednesdays!
Have an awesome day!
The lamps were found at wayfair.com, but this is NOT a sponsored post.

DeleteHmmm...well I REALLY like both, but I think I'm more partial to the demijohn. I just like that thing:D
ReplyDeleteThat's okay, Cindy, I like both ways, too and I'm sure it will change again at some point. :)
DeleteLoving the new look, but I liked the previous look too. Same with the lamps...I like both sets. I'm not much help. Ha! Sheila
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheila. I like both, too.
DeleteNew lamps and urn.... I like that the urn is shorter and the green adds a pop color... While I love demijohns, that particular one doesn't fit the space properly because of it's size... Love your home!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacy!
DeleteI love the new lamps! The height is better suited for that location.
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie!

Pat
Pat, all I do is water it which seems to be fairly often these days. I'm sure it needs to be repotted.
DeleteI think I like these a little better because of the width of the base and the rustic finish. But that's not to say that I don't like the other ones. I really love the urn -beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the new lamps, love the rich patina and the distressed look to them.
ReplyDeleteYou always inspire a easy look with just a little tweaking of something here or there.
See you soon Kim.
Xx
