Last week I shared the plaid chair that replaced the tall tufted one in the great room. Several weeks ago I showed y'all the tall vintage mirror I found that went on the mantel which meant the painting had to move somewhere. Today I'm sharing my spring master where those things ended up plus a little leopard tossed in.
I was wanting to try this painting in here for quite some time so when the mirror was bought to go over the mantel I knew this painting would work in here since it goes so well with my French country style bedroom.
I moved the leopard print pillows in here from the great room along with the pillow on the front that I ordered from The Luckett's Store a couple years ago. I also took the king size pillows that matched the duvet off the bed for a lighter feel.
Soon it will be time to dress this room up for summer. Time is going by way too quickly!
Have an awesome week!
Looks beautiful in here ... the colors are all so serene! Love the pillows, too. And, yes, the season is going by so fast!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becca and yes way too fast!!
DeleteHi Kim, I have recently found your blog and am enjoying it so much. Your bedroom is so serene and welcoming.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteThe colors in the print look good in the master. So do the leopard pillows. I hate it when they make pillows with non-matching backs!
ReplyDeleteThe backs being different does not bother me at all. These are high end fabric pillows and very well made with the cutest pleated detail on the corners with the contrasting fabric.
DeleteYes, they are very cute - I found that fabric. It's just a personal preference to me that the front and back be the same. I guess it costs the maker more, but it's what I want. I'm lucky I can sew basic pillows and I found a person online who does the ruffled corners, pleats, etc. that are out of my league! LOL
DeleteLooks so beautiful and restful...your new chair works as well in your Master as it does in your living room...
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandy!
DeleteBeautiful......love your bedding!

DeleteLove this "redone" bedroom, but where in the world do you keep the pillow that you sleep on when the bed is made?
ReplyDeleteMargaret, see how puffy the duvet is at the end of the bed? The pillows are under it.

Thank you Cindy!
DeleteKim, the soft look of your master suggests that this is a restful place. I love the tuffted headboard and the soft grays and neutrals you've used throughout. And yes, the painting is perfect in this setting. It's all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah. It's actually soft browns, but this time of year the light is terrible and my pics come out gray looking.
DeleteOh Kim, your master looks beautiful! The painting looks great in there and so does the chair. Love all the pillows!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pinky!

It all looks so beautiful Kim!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely room, Kim...I love that painting!
ReplyDeleteYou're always good at switching things up. A new space every time and with things you already have! So serene and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI came across this post via Pinterest. I love your bedspread! What color is it and where did you get it?
ReplyDeleteThe quilt on the bed and the duvet are both from Restoration Hardware and found at the outlet last year and the year before. The duvet is discontinued and I'm not sure about the quilt. The color is flax I believe.
DeleteI love the finish on your nightstand!! Did it come that way or was that a custom refinish, and what paint color is it?
ReplyDeleteI painted it years ago and then again and don't remember what I used. It's a combination of different paints.
