Welcome to Wow! Schools around here are back in session. What? Where did summer go? I went with my daughter and miss Leila to her open house on Monday and met her new teacher. She is so excited to be going back to school on Wednesday. Her classroom is so cute with little tables and chairs and their own lockers. Gosh I didn't have a locker in kindergarten. When school is back in session it makes me think of fall, but schools have started earlier and earlier here and fall is still a ways off. I am so ready for cooler less humid days.
While we dream of fall and cooler weather let's look at some features from last week.
Wow, look at this tongue and groove ceiling in Dancing Dog Cabin's cabin they are working on. Check out how they stained all those planks themselves.
Komali Nunna shares a recipe using all this beautiful produce from her own garden.
Love this blue chest transformation by D. D.'s Cottage and Design.
Thanks to everyone who joined last week.
Now we want to see what you have to wow us with this week!

Thanks for hosting Kim, I'm beyond ready for fall!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the party, Kim. I am off to read about that great summer produce. I had one (yup, one!) tomato this year and a little furry garden rascal stole it before it turned red...and they didn't even have the manners to finish it all! ;) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the party, Kim! I agree it was so humid outside this morning when I was putting my tablescape together the fabric was damp. I am hanging it on chairs to dry out before I can put it away. Whew!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim! Thanks so much for hosting.

ReplyDeleteAwesome features, Kim. Thanks so much for hosting. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSchool? NO! It doesn't start in France until Sept. 1. La rentrée, when everybody shows back up to regular life after vacation. School here goes until early July--the 5th this year--so summer is short enough.
ReplyDeleteI'm quite happy to eat cold or grilled dinners that revolve around the bounty of summer produce, especially tomatoes.
Great features. Yes, cannot believe the kiddos are all back in school here.
ReplyDeleteYou have featured interesting and lovely ideas.Dresser makeover idea is brilliant and worth to try.
