Welcome to day one of the Bloggers Seasonal Harvest Tour hosted by Brenda at Cozy Little House.
We wanted to say a special thank you to our readers with this tour. I cannot say thank you enough to y'all who come here over and over to read my crazy changes around this house. Maybe I'm not the crazy one. ha
Last fall it was all about the apples out here so this year I used pumpkins.
To say thanks I'm inviting y'all to join me on the deck that is dressed for fall now that it has actually felt like fall for a few days.
When I spied this vintage lettuce basket at a home decor shop I knew it had to come home with me.
It's perfect filled with pumpkins now, but can be used for so many other things so I'm sure it will be showing up in future posts.
Where are my manners? Come on over and have a seat and we will chat and have some coffee or I can make some tea if you prefer that.
I thought we would use these glam cups I found at HomeGoods.
I brought out my stash of pillows to use out here. Since they are not outdoor pillows I'll have to take them back in at night.
There's a soft throw if it gets too chilly for you.
Bailey loves it out here when the weather is nice. Y'all don't mind her joining us do you?
I love finding these gigantic mums for sale at Costco for only $10.99. I just pop them into these vintage bushel baskets I keep on hand.
Thank you so much for joining me today and every time I post.
This blog is nothing without my readers!
Last week I shared my fall sunroom and dining room and the week before I shared the fall great room.

What an inviting space! I love how you hung the tobacco basket, such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteLove your deck all decked out so beautifully for Fall...Love that lettuce crate..what a great find...just perfect filled with the wonderful selection of pumpkins....and I will have some coffee please so I can sit and enjoy the beautiful deck!
ReplyDeleteI really like those brown checked pillows - could you share where you found them?
ReplyDeleteDo you have to take the bench in each night also, and your stools, etc.? I have only used outdoor fabric pillows on our patio, but am thinking of using a few out of regular fabric.
There was a spot on one of our local news shows last week that told about making fall items last longer. They said repotting mums would extend their life/blooms. They also told to wash your pumpkins, let them dry and then wipe with alcohol and let dry again before putting outside. Sounds crazy but I did it! We'll see. Back in the 80s this week. Hope my pumpkins can take it! LOL
The checked pillows are several years old from Ballards. There has been no threat of rain if days and none in the forecast so for now everything can stay out.
DeleteThanks! I have my fingers crossed that we will get some rain from Matthew! I hope!!!

ReplyDeleteLove your porch Kim and Bailey hanging out.
ReplyDeleteWhat an inviting space! Costco definitely has the best deal around on the mums. Yesterday we popped in HD for something and of course I spied another mum, one that looked like daisies, (for more money than Costco, of course.) It jumped into my cart, and as we were about to leave, Ray said, "What's that?" Well, "that" was a couple of wasps sitting up top on the flowers, nice as you please! He quickly off-loaded it and we left with no mum! I adore your owl pillow -- is that available anywhere this year?
ReplyDeleteYour vintage lettuce basket is wonderful ~ love it!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to relax it's so pretty. How do you keep the squirrels away from the pumpkins
ReplyDeleteSandra Lee, in a blogger's world what we share is not always the way it is. This was styled for the shoot and then a lot of it was taken down. The pumpkins were out there for a few days and never bothered. Thanks
