I started not to decorate the master bedroom for Christmas, but I always do so I added just a few things. The first thing you will notice is that Mango the cow has moved to the master and I'm really loving it over our bed. The pastoral that hung here moved to the breakfast room in place of the breadboards gallery wall that no longer fit with the new trim added in there.
I have had this faux fur throw on the bed for some time now and I love how the black spots on it ties together with the black of the painting.
I grabbed my black Christmas pillow I bought last year to add to the bed and voila touches of black added for Christmas. Not the normal colors you would think of for the holidays.
A faux garland dresses up the upholstered headboard. It is literally just laying up there and has not budged. At least it wouldn't hurt us if it did fall, but it would scare the crap out of me I'm sure.
My favorite little black pillow sits on this chair along with my mask I wore to a masquerade party last weekend.
Also the shoes I danced for hours in. My feet actually didn't hurt. 😁
A vintage French egg basket holds some ornaments.
I added a small lighted tree from Pottery Barn last year to the urn that was already sitting here.
The chair from the great room is tucked in this corner and will be moved out once the tree comes down. The mister was the phantom at the party.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love that cow art! May I ask if your bedroom rug is carpeting or a large rug? I am in need of a nice 9x12 rug for the living room and would like a patterned cream. We could do a bound carpet . Thanks for lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you and it is wall to wall carpeting my Mohawk.
DeleteHappy New Year! I love Miss Bailey's dog bed---is it linen on the outside? Where did you buy it???
ReplyDeleteNo, it isn't linen and it's from HomeGoods.
