Soon the bedrooms of 2017 will begin because I told y'all I have a real problem. 😜
The Guestrooms of 2016
1.05.2017
Y'all, I have a real problem. Yep, it could even be serious. I can't stop changing up the beds in my house. See, I told you I have a real problem.😛 I just love a pretty bed and bed linens and I have way too much fun coming up with different looks. I hope that sharing those changes inspires y'all to maybe look at your beds and if they have been the same way for months or even years maybe it's time to freshen them up. It doesn't have to be a complete change it can be with just a few new additions. Even new pretty pillow shams or a new throw pillow can be all it needs or swap from room to room like I do. So today I'm sharing the guest room beds from the past year and maybe they'll give you some ideas for your own beds.
Kim, your guest rooms are always lovely and perfect for company. I can't pick a favorite, love them all! Happy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your style. Makes me want to crawl in and rest!
ReplyDeleteYou could be the stylist for a bedding magazine! You have the gift and vision of making every bed look different, cozy, beautiful and inviting!
ReplyDeleteAwe, thanks, Sandy. Now, that would be a fun job if I was looking to work again.
DeleteOh, one more thing....Do you have a room where you store all your linens pillows and stash? Hope you will be revealing your kitchen makeover soon!
ReplyDeleteNo, it is stored everywhere. In closets, armoires, chests, baskets, etc. I did reveal the kitchen decorated at Christmas and will share the deets soon if we ever get a sunny day to take photos. We have had cloudy days forever lately and snow coming this weekend.
DeleteAlways enjoy seeing the ever changing beautiful guest rooms...Rooms that your guests will so enjoy and not leave!!! I speak from personal experience! Keep the light on!
ReplyDeleteSo full of inspiration. Currently trying to decide how to kick things up here in my master, I see a few things I can pull together.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your changes. Loved that Christmas pillow of the horse.
ReplyDeleteKim, could you tell me where you purchased your iron bed. It is just what I am looking for. Thanks
ReplyDeleteFrom overstock.com a few years ago. I don't think they sell it anymore. Thanks
DeleteBoth of these rooms are gorgeous and you always change up the bedding and decor to keep them looking so pretty and inviting.
ReplyDeleteI certainly would love to be one of your lucky guests! Will you come spiff mine up?!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all warm and inviting. I see us having to create "guest" rooms in the next few years. Right now they are still the "girls" rooms (and in a sense always will be). Great inspiration pictures.
ReplyDeleteSo many choices and I love them all Kim!
ReplyDeleteYour guest rooms are always so pretty. Love each and every time you change them up.

Your talent for making BEAUTIFUL beds is wonderful. Wish I could stay in either room!!
ReplyDeleteKim, I love that vintage frame above the one bed. If you ever decide to sell it, I want dibs!
ReplyDeleteDo you often have guests overnight to appreciate all your spare bedroom innovations! I'll come and stay if you don't!
What a great collection! I especially love the Christmas Cabin one. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI can't pick a favorite. No wonder you keep changing--they all look so good.
ReplyDeleteI love your piqué spread (called a boutis in French)--I'm hunting for some now and it's hard to find one with a pretty design.
I'd like to tell you which my favourite is... But I can't choose!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love all your guest rooms! No matter how many time you change them they always turn out stunning! I love the shiplap addition too!!
