Today I'm sharing this and that around the house. A few peeks of new things and a couple of things I was trying out plus a peek at the piece I've been working on.
Y'all know you will always find new pillows around here and these are some new ones in the sunroom that I bought from two etsy shops. More of the changes in here coming soon.
I have had this sign for years and pulled it out of my stash to try out over this guest bed. It may stay and it may not.
I went to a new local florist a couple of weeks ago to find some more plants for the house and she really didn't have much to choose from, but I brought this ivy home and changed out what was in this urn on the sofa table.
A new blue blue and white quilt is on the other guest bed. It's toile on one side and stripes on the other.
I love big fluffy custom made cushions for benches and chairs so just for fun I stuck this pillow on this chair. I need to find someone to make a custom one.
On the coffee table in the great room I filled this large antique tian with moss balls and pine cones since the oranges were all eaten.
Here's a grainy phone pic of the curio cabinet that I shared on instagram while in progress. It is finished, but the wall it is against needs to be painted since two large nail holes had to be repaired. I will get that done soon once I get the paint that I am out of.
I hope your Sunday is a good one!

I like that quilt, Kim. I have always liked the pillow ticking look. Back in the 80s I had a kitchen that had red and white pillow ticking wallpaper in one area and everyone just loved it. lol Had the 'ruffled' country curtains to match, too. Hope you have a great Sunday- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteNanaDiana is so right, the blue quilt is very pretty. You do an amazing job with your pillows!
ReplyDeleteThat fluffy cushion on the chair is perfect. Love it.
ReplyDeletePretty things. I am eager to see the curio cabinet when it's madeover.
ReplyDeleteYou finished the cabinet?! Ooohhhh. I wonder if I was right as to where it ended up.
ReplyDeleteThe fluffy pillow on the chair is unexpected ,thus perfect ☺

Love all of you "this and thats" and really love the new quilt!...can't wait for the curio cabinet reveal! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLove the diamond/star printed pillow in the sunroom (left one)and the fluffy chair pillow at the foot of the stairs. Looking forward to reveals. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have a comforter that is exactly like your quilt - same toile pattern on one side with the stripe on the back. I wish mine was a quilt instead of a comforter! I love how you added it to the other blue patterns. It gives me some new ideas to try! Thanks
ReplyDeleteMy quilt in our guest room is very similar. I love that pillow on the chair. I have been getting some new plants for the house too, I guess it is the nesting feeling in winter. It is chilly and rainy here today so my outdoor pans will be done tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove the new quilt in the guest room, Kim!
