Happy Saturday and happy Super Bowl weekend! Even though I am not a fan of football I am certainly rooting for the Falcons since I live outside of Atlanta. So rise up Falcons!
I've been working on a small project the last few days and guess what it is?
Another chair I found! I mean seriously I couldn't leave this at the antique mall. Right?
Actually I did leave it, but it taunted me and I had to go back. Thank goodness it was still there.Y'all know I have a chair fettish and then there is the caning and I just can't turn my back on it especially when it's only $45. Plus there is that cool design on the back.
Only problem it was just too brown. So I picked up some Mineral Fusion paint, that I have never used before in the color Raw Silk, and started painting.
After painting it Mr. Savvy said you're not finished with it, are you? Actually I was hoping I was, but no, clean and white is so not me. Y'all know I like things a little old and chippy and worn and imperfect.
I didn't want to run out to buy more paint so I mixed my own custom color.
To be continued......
Hope y'all have a fabulous weekend and be sure to check out more inspiration below including one of my favorite paint projects pulled from my archives. For those new here it also shows some of how my dining room used to look.
But you left us hanging ... lol
