The new French hutch arrived last Saturday morning and I'm in love! With the new hutch in place the old one had to move to a new space. Thank goodness the young men who delivered my antique hutch were nice enough to help us out by moving the old one to a guestroom upstairs. There was no way we could do it ourselves. That sucker is very heavy! We tipped those young men well for a job well done.
Come on in.
I was afraid the hutch might not look good in here, but I actually like it better than the chest that was in here before. You can check out that look here.
Shopping the house again, like I did for the bonus room, I added a few things and some touches of spring. This will be so much fun changing seasonally.
To fill shelves like this I like to layer, add texture, and color.
The large pink colored sea fan adds texture and color. The framed pictures leaning in the back and the sea fan add a layer.
I'm loving this in it's new space and it has a whole new look with the change of accessories to suit it's new location.
That hutch gets more beautiful with every paint job!! I love the way you've used it in the bedroom.
