Summer Decorating Has Begun

I like to make subtle changes each season in my home and today I'm sharing just a few peeks of the early summer decorating that has begun.
Changing out bedding and pillows are the main changes I make along with a few summer accessories for a fresher, lighter, and cooler look for the hot months ahead.

    I love all these close-ups.
    I just saw some painted ceiling beams from 1640 that look just like the wood curlicue thing you show. Classic.

    I never can quite decide what to do so I usually put up my patriotic decor at the beginning of June. After July 4th, I put up my summer/beachy decor. I love the pillows and the moss balls in the urn!
