Are you ready for the weekend? We are so glad to have Miss Bailey back home after being so sick. She is feeling so much better and got a fabulous report from the vet on Thursday.
Almost all her numbers involving her liver and gallbladder are back to normal after being scary high.
Her doctor even told me she had him scared and he doesn't get scared often, but he was afraid her liver was going to shut down.
After not being groomed in many weeks we finally got her a summer do. I wanted the long hair left on her legs with a short tight cut on the body. She had her hair shaved on one of her legs for the IV fluids when she was hospitalized so the groomer shaved her other leg to match. Too funny.
Being empty nesters she is our only child at home and we are so glad to have her feeling like herself again.
Of course there is still a lot of napping, too.
Enjoy some inspiration below including my summer sunroom if you missed it.
Awwww......SO glad Miss Bailey is feeling better. She is the cutest little thing with the sweetest face! Our pets are like our children, so I know you were really worried about her. Glad she's home!! Happy Summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rhonda. Yes, they certainly are like our children.
DeleteSo happy to see miss Bailey back home and doing so much better! My pups are like my kids as well and when they are sick it is so hard.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. I know you love your pups.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Penny.
DeleteSo glad she is back home. I know what you mean, before our #2 moved back home with her pup our little Cairn was our "only" child.
ReplyDeleteMy mom has a cairn, too.
DeleteI'm glad she's feeling better! It's scary when our babies are sick!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is Pam. Thanks
DeleteSo thankful that Miss Bailey is back home and doing well! It is no fun when our "babies" are not feeling well and not being themselves. So precious!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Veronica.
DeleteI'm happy to hear Bailey is recovering . Just terrible when our little dogs get sick.Like a baby, they can't tell us what is wrong. I cant bear it When I dont know What To Do.
ReplyDeleteYes, it would make things much easier if they could talk to us. :)
DeleteShe's your little sweetheart baby! So good to hear you got great news. That must have been terribly scary. Love her new do! She's adorable and fits right in with your beautiful decor.
ReplyDeleteYes, she is my baby by my side all the time and following me around. Thanks
DeleteAwww...what a sweetie! I am so glad she is doing better. My dog Sammy put us through a scare too. It's not over yet. So far he is diabetic and may have Cushings....we are happy the insulin is helping.
ReplyDeleteMy vet was thinking her illness could have possibly been Cushings, but it wasn't. Just her body reacting to the sausage she ate that almost killed her. Never again!
DeleteSo glad that Miss Bailey is back home and feeling better. We love our fur babies. :-)
ReplyDeleteBAILY>>>YOU ARE LOOKING RIGHT PERKY!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home little sweetie. Glad to hear that you are feeling better and ready to snuggle and cuddle with your family again.
ReplyDeleteBailey is precious and I'm glad she's on the mend.
ReplyDeleteSo happy that Miss Bailey is home and feeling like her own pretty self!...and happy for her parents too!
ReplyDeleteMiss Bailey is looking chic and healthy! Saying goes: when you look good, you feel good - and, in MB's case: when you feel good you look good! Glad she is well again.
