Well, the broken foot saga continues. I went back for another recheck and he said it has improved, but not completely. That was certainly not the news I wanted and I go back in another month to be checked again. Another month! So I get to continue to wear the ugly hard bottom ortho shoe and poor Mr. Savvy still gets to be my driver.
This past week I shared my colorful summer deck, How I Styled the Guestroom Hutch, and a Necessary Purchase in case you missed those.
Check out the links below and have a fabulous weekend!
I'll be out on my deck.
I'll be out on my deck.
Kim, I am so sorry you have to continue wearing the boot. Hopefully in a month, it can come off. Enjoy sitting on your beautiful deck!
ReplyDeleteOh Kim, that really stinks about your Dr. visit! I know it must be hard to wear that chunky thing all day and to but dependent on transportation! Sorry! 😐
ReplyDeleteHmmm just lost my comment. I wonder why it is taking so long to heal? Do you take Calcium? Vit D? But the good thing is - it IS healing, just slowly. At least you don't need surgery. Here's what you need to do - call up some girlfriends, make some "play dates" and let them taxi you to lunch, a little shopping (don't over do! LOL), etc. or even just come and visit with you.
ReplyDeleteYes I do take both of those and more. My bff is out of state so it's a good thing hubby is my local best friend and will carry me around when he's home.
DeleteI am so sorry your not healing as quickly as you had hope! Sending healing vibes your way.
ReplyDeleteKim, I hope you heal!! That sounds like it would be very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, sorry about your foot! Did Mr Savvy build your gazebo? I love it!
ReplyDeleteYes, he built the pergola two years ago.
DeleteSo sorry Kim! Having girls who both had terrible foot injuries, I can attest to it taking a long time to heal properly!! UGH.
ReplyDeletePut those feet up and enjoy this gorgeous weather we are having!!
Hang in there, Kim! Hope it heals soon! Just relax on that pretty deck of yours and try to enjoy the weekend!

I am SO sorry, Kim. I broke my toe last Sunday and have been limping around but at least am getting around. The ortho shoe sounds awful:( The only thing I can wear right now are flip flops. Have a good weekend. Hope you are able to get out.
ReplyDeleteOh Kim! I'm so sorry that you have to wear that old heavy boot for another month! But at least the news is semi-good!
ReplyDeleteOH BUT PLEASE LISTEN TO THE DOCTOR! I had a cast for two months and the boot for two months for my ankle. It's been 9 months now since my accident and I tweaked it on stairs yesterday :( Just takes time. Luckily, we have lots of Ubers and Lyfts around here. You would do it for Mr. Savvy!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the news on your foot. Hope in a month you will get better news. Love love your pretty patio. Have a great weekend.

I know you can't wait till your can give your boot, the boot! Hang in there :)
ReplyDeleteOh, good luck with the foot! Not fun at all.
ReplyDeleteOh that stinks! You live to change things up around the house, shop to find things to make your home better and better and discover new places that makes you happy and not being able to do that independently has to be soooo frustrating!!! You are blessed to have Mr Savvy to be your Uber driver and handy man extraordinaire. We will have to celebrate when you get out of the Ugly Boot!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that your foot isn't healed. I did the same thing to my foot last year so I know that wearing the boot during the hot summer is no fun. Hopefully your next Dr. visit will be better.
