Welcome Wowzers! It's the hottest time of the year and last night our air condition decided to take a nap. Well, Mr. Air you can't stop working this time of year so hopefully the air doctor can fix you quickly without having to order parts. It was working perfectly and then I realized it was getting hot in the house. Thank goodness I have an individual unit in the sunroom where I stay most of the time. I even slept on the sofa so I wouldn't burn up in the house. I can't sleep when I'm not. Of course I didn't sleep good on the sofa either. Oh, well many are going through much worse than this and all will be fixed soon, I hope. Oh, and I worked in the yard last weekend for the first time this year and it felt so good until I was attacked by yellow jackets when I disturbed their nest accidentally. You should have seen me running (the best I could) and screaming! Now my healed foot that was broken is very sore. This year just keeps getting better and better. Not! 😆
Let's look at some features from last week and get this party started.

ReplyDeleteKim, Those yellow jackets are vicious! Hope your A/C is fixed soon, it's too hot to be without.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about your air conditioner and the yellow jackets. Yikes. I hope your foot is feeling better already.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what's worse, the lack of AC or the yellow jackets. I think I'm going to go with the lack of AC. Yikes! Thanks for hosting. That Cola Burger is calling my name.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteYellow jackets are just mean--I was stung a few weeks ago! Hope your foot is better soon. Thanks so much for featuring my fondue fork plant markers!

ReplyDeleteSuch cute features today! Love the strawberry strewn wreath!!! Thank you for hosting the party, as always. :) Happy to get back in the groove and link up.
Have a great rest of your week,

Oye Pamela! I sure do hope you finally got you AC up and running. That would be miserable in this high humidity. As for the yellow jackets? I feel your pain. Well, maybe not the foot pain but I got into a next in the woods last week and received 10 nasty stings. Still itching and swollen :(
ReplyDeleteI hope this next week is the beginning of a shift in luck for you. Make it fantastic!
Thanks for the party dear lady.
Patti

ReplyDeleteHope your summer and coming week are much better. Thank you for hosting.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim! Thanks for hosting. Your home always looks so pretty, but I think summer in your house is my very favorite.
ReplyDeleteOh the joys of summer - don't get me wrong, I love summer but stinging insects and broken air conditioners aren't fun. Thanks for the party, Kim and hope your week goes much smoother.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting, and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, hope you are feeling better. Yep, our 18 year old ac did the same about a month ago. It had gotten to 88 in the house at night, ceiling fans helped barely, ha. It was the fan motor outside, the blades stopped turning. We had to wait until the next morning but that guy got it up and running and we are good to go. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the party!
ReplyDeleteKim, I am so sorry to hear about your air conditioning and the bees! I hope you get cool air going and your foot feels better! Thank you for hosting this party.
