How's your weekend going? It is finally feeling more like fall now and we are taking advantage of the weather and getting some much needed work done outside. While Mr. Savvy cut the grass I started cleaning the mildew on the window frames and house. Yea, I think he got the better deal. It's been awhile since we last cleaned the mildew and it needed to be done badly. After cleaning the mildew I cleaned the windows with an extendable handled brush and some concentrated window cleaner we found at Home Depot. That stuff worked well and we have a huge bottle that should last forever.
But I'm not here to chit chat about the work going on over here.
Since it's the first day of October (how did that happen?) we are saying goodbye September and hello October with some snippets of upcoming posts.

Have a fabulous fall day and an awesome week!
October is looking good at your house. I agree with you- mowing is a whole lot easier than windows. lol That mildew is miserable stuff, too.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week, Kim. xo Diana
ps- Love that potting shed sign
How fun! I love the potting shed sign and the quilted pillow!

Love the potting shed sign also...too cute! It finally cooled down here in central VA so that we could take advantage and do some much needed projects outside also. The hubby power washed the whole house and it really brighten it up and I cleaned out my flower beds and put down some mulch. I sure hope October will bring us cooler temps.
ReplyDeleteGosh the months are flying by. Looking good over at your house. We so need to have our windows cleaned after all the rain we had this summer.
ReplyDeleteThe outside work is endless...love all the snippets!
ReplyDeleteooooh, I'm lovin' that red plaid and the quilted pillow with it. So much fun to decorate for Fall!
ReplyDeleteLoving the snippets! We always have our home pressure washed twice a year. Once in the fall and once in the spring. They clean the windows too and it is so worth it!
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful thank you for sharing God bless
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Kim. Plaid, the bench, potting shed sign, blankets in baskets. What great, welcoming style!
ReplyDeleteHow did September pass by so fast? Things are starting to feel autumnal here in SW France too and I think all of us are starting to turn our attention to the little things that make us feel a bit more cosy in the evenings. The leaves still haven't really started to fall and change colour yet though.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim - your snippets are tantalizing! I especially love what you do with pillows and envy your collection. Happy October.
