I have always loved twin beds whether they are for kids or adults. There is just something about a pair of beds all made up in pretty linens and usually some kind of chest or table between them. I didn't ever think I would have twin beds in my home, but after my dad's passing I ended up with the twin beds that were my grandparents'. I've had so much fun setting those beds up and will be sharing them soon.

ReplyDeleteI love the look but we will never have them. No kids in the family and our guest room is used rarely (everyone is here!). I personally do not want to sleep on one. I especially love that one with the twin 4-posters. Saw yours on instagram!

ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about twin beds for our guest room. Most of our guests are older and the queen bed seems a little small for two people. I think my guests would enjoy have their own bed.
ReplyDeleteI have those exact twin beds (third set down) the Jenny Lind beds from John's grandfather's boyhood---so they are from the 1800s. They are in excellent shape and as we prepare to move I am passing them along to my youngest son. I have always loved them though...but they are kind of a beast to make and get the covers tucked down in properly. lol
