If you love Fixer Upper, old houses, modern farmhouse style and a beautiful transformation then you are in for a treat today. While scrolling instagram I came across The Morrow House which was a contender in Season five episode one of Fixer Upper, but wasn't chosen because it was too big of an undertaking. Thank goodness someone else was looking to transform an old home and transform it they did. I'll let the photos do the talking.
Isn't it cute decorated for Christmas?
This home is available to rent near Waco.
Gosh, I need a girls trip!

ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty and bright. I'm glad they kept the lattice arches in the front.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this. I'm an avid admirer of Fixer Upper and had seen this house when a young couple was looking for a home to be remodeled. It is beautiful and I'm so happy someone did remodel it. Would love to take a trip to Waco for more than one reason.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the places I was looking at if Terry and I take a trip to Waco and Magnolia this fall.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing these kind of transformations with old homes. That bed is just too wonderful!
ReplyDeleteKim, when the show this house was a part of was aired, I was so hoping that it would be picked. It is a house from the same era as mine. When it wasn't, I really thought JoAnna was going to take it for another bed and breakfast the way she was talking about it. I am glad to see someone else had the idea. It was such a beautiful place to have let go further into despair. Judy

It wasn't kids who bought this house.
DeleteIt's a lovely home and it really deserved to be reloved... I'm only sad that the people who renovated it aren't living in it.
ReplyDeleteMy husband restored lots of old homes but....I think his worst looked better than that poor thing did.....OH BUT LOOK AT IT NOW. A truly beautiful sight.
