I shared my home's paint colors a few years ago, but many rooms have been repainted since then so today I'm sharing my current colors since I get asked all the time about the colors in different rooms.
You can click on the highlighted links to see the full posts.
All the paint is Benjamin Moore. I use their Regal paint line on the walls in matte which is between a flat and eggshell and I use semi gloss on all the trim and the color is Chantilly Lace.
We will start in the FOYER.. This color is French Canvas and since our floor plan is open this color goes up the stairs and in the great room.
GREAT ROOM (French Canvas)
SITTING ROOM color is Wheeling Neutral. It's a nice khaki color.
The French doors and other doors on the main floor are painted Alexandria Beige.
The BREAKFAST ROOM and kitchen are French Canvas. I used this color in several rooms.
The ceiling and walls are the same color. The foyer and great room have the ceilings the same color, too.
As I said the KITCHEN walls are French Canvas. The white cabinets and trim in here are Snowfall White and we used the Advanced paint in semi gloss.
The green gray cabinets are Chateau Gray by Annie Sloan chalk paint.
The SUNROOM walls are painted White Dove and I'm not sure what the ceiling color is as I painted it many years ago and haven't painted it again. Oh, my aching neck! The ceiling is a white with a hint of green.
The MASTER BEDROOM, which is my most asked about color, is Alexandria Beige. I'm not sure what the ceiling colors are as a painter did those for us several years ago.
The MASTER BATH walls and ceiling are White Dove and the trim is Chantilly Lace like the rest of the house. The cabinets ended up being custom mixed and are a pale blue gray.
Farmhouse style GUEST BEDROOM walls are White Dove and the planked wall is removable wallpaper.
Last, but not least is the BONUS ROOM guest bedroom and again it's French Canvas on the walls and ceiling.
Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteHi! Beautiful Home! I have a similar open style which came to us when we bought it with beige/brown walls, ready to get them painted and French Canvas is on the list of potential options. Curious if it feels more tan or more grey? I am looking for a light gray that is warm but does not go tan, purple or green. So basically a very neutral light gray that leans warm. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteFrench Canvas never looks gray to me. It's more cream and does have a hint of green depending on the light.
DeleteThanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteThis comes at the perfect time - we are getting our parent's home ready to sell and your colors are so clean, bright and fresh will definitely consider them. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! I am in the throes of finding a light neutral paint as well. Love the French Canvas. May I asked what paint color is on your living room bookshelves, or is it also French Canvas?
DeleteThe bookcases are Manchester Tan by Benjamin Moore.
DeleteOh,thank you! I love your style!☺️
ReplyDeleteYou have a fabulous design eye.
ReplyDeleteMay I ask that you post the manufacturer, style and color of the master bathroom subway tile that goes so well with the dove white walls please?
I did a sources details post, but I don't have those specific details. The tile was found at Floor and Decor three years ago. Here is the post with the sources. https://www.savvysouthernstyle.net/2017/10/the-master-bath-details-and-sources.html
DeleteYour house is beautiful! I am curious what your exterior colors are? We are currently building and I am finding all the pretty houses to copy. Your house definitely stands out. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThe exterior is a stucco finish in a built in color which is a beige color and the trim is white and the shutters are a sage green. Thank you!
