I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas and now New Years is right around the corner.Have you taken down your Christmas decorations yet? I normally have my done by now, but I have been busy with other things, but I will probably get it all put away this weekend.
Today in this edition of French Country Fridays you will find New Years decor ideas, winter decorationg and more.
Enjoy all the inspiration below and have a great weekend!

I normally take my Christmas décor/decorations down several days before New Years. While I love Christmas décor, its nice to get some of the clutter gone and packed away and the house cleaned. Some of the décor I used for Christmas can transition over to Winter which is nice. Thought I would take out some of my white faux orchids which look nice during the winter months and the white deer can stay out as well through January.
ReplyDeleteI feel like it is so much easier to leave christmas decor out in the mountains or the East. Here in CA it always looks kind of silly not long after Christmas which is unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteI took my Christmas decor down and am ready to make some changes for the new year. I was ready with getting my decor up very early in the season. Hope your Christmas was wonderful and mom is doing good. May the new year bring you new adventures with your blog and decorating.
Hugs,
Kris
The Christmas Decor stays up until Epiphany, Jan 6. Then the Mardi Gras decor goes up. Sometimes a tree is redecorated with Mardi Gras ornaments. This stays up until Lent. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
ReplyDeleteAs always...lots of great inspiration here!!!....Actually I usually leave everything up til January 6th...however, I find myself putting away little things....Happy New Year!
