Not too long ago I shared how I made over this antique French commode that used to serve as my nightstand. Now it serves as my dresser and I gave it a little update that took me less than ten minutes. I love those quick kind of updates, don't you?
Antique French Commode Makeover Take Two
Here is what it looked like when I shared the first makeover. You can read how I painted it here.
After painting it all blue it just wasn't feeling quite right and then I knew what to do.
I grabbed a can of gray chalk based paint and brushed it on and then took a bit back off to show some of the blue.
You can see some of the layers on the top.
Of course I had to add some hydrangeas. 😊
It's almost the weekend!
Kim, I loved the first makeover and I love this one also. You do a great job and inspire me to get my paint brush out! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kim above I liked them both too but the gray with the blue is so gorgeous. Great job so pretty.
Hugs,
Kris
