Let's Go To Tuscany

8.24.2019

I've been to Italy a couple of times once on a large group tour and another time to go to our son and daughter in law's Italian reception several months after they got married in Nashville. My son married an Italian girl and only her parents and siblings came to the wedding so there was a reception in Italy for the rest of her family to celebrate their marriage. It was a full day of eating and drinking. I've never been so full in my life and then that evening there was home made pizzas cooked in a very very old pizza oven. Oh, if I had only been hungrier to eat more than one piece. It was so good.
Thank goodness there were leftovers for the next day.

One place I would like to go back and spend more time in is the Tuscany region. I just happened to come across this place recently called Lupaia and my mouth dropped open. Maybe some day after Mr. Savvy retires we can visit this place. I can dream anyway. 😉

Lupaia is a country estate in the heart of Tuscany and it was a former goat farm on top of a hill and was abandoned for over forty years and now it welcomes guests
Lupaia dates back to 1622. You can read more about it and view their photos here.

Look how goreous this is at dusk all lit up.

I can imagine sleeping in this beautiful bed.

Or this one.

Or even this one. How do you choose?

I'll take my coffee outside to take in the view.

Let's get cleaned up in here.

Then go enjoy a wonderful buffet breakfast. Oh, my at all the goodies!
I'm drooling.

Let's sit outside in the afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine....or more.

We could enjoy a dip in the pool.

After that wonderful day we can get ready for dinner and enjoy a wonderful chef prepared meal in the dining room.

They even offer a chauffer and a limo to take you where you want to go.

I'm ready to go how about you?
