Summer Table and Breakfast Room

8.13.2019

It's been awhile since I've shared the breakfast room so I thought I would share it with a simple summer table setting because we know a set table looks better than an unset one. I set this when I took photos of the mini kitchen makeover reveal recently and was going to share it in that post, but it would have made that post too long so now I'm sharing the summer table and breakfast room.

I pulled everything from my stash except the cloth napkins are new. These were a final sale bargain from Pottery Barn and the perfect soft color I was looking for.

I bought some green carnations and added some crape mrytle clippings from the yard and tucked them in this vintage gree jar.

I  set the table with mismatched vintage plates for a very casual feel.

The chicken wire chargers are several years old from Pottery Barn and everyone always asks me about them. Pottery Barn should bring them back since they always stayed sold out.

For those who may be new here I found this table on my trip to France several years ago. It's very old and I'm going to work on the finish on it some time soon. Someone added some kind of orangey stain to the top that needs to be removed. There are even burn marks on the top.

We love using these chairs as they are way more comfortable than the antique French ones that I moved to the dining room. When we have company visiting I switch them back so we can seat more folks with the smaller chairs.

After the table setting was all put away I added this blue stripe grain sack and an ironstone pitcher of grocery store flowers for a simple everyday look.

I hope you have a fabulous week!

You can check out the spring tour here with the other chairs.
