Fun Art in a French Country Fall Bedroom

It may be blazing hot here in the south, but it's time to start adding some things around the house that say fall. I always start first with changing out pillows on the sofas and then it just kind of grows from there. I also like to change out the bedding seasonally in all the bedrooms and sometimes I change out what is hanging over the bed.

Fun Art in a French Country Fall Bedroom

Do y'all ever scroll instagram and then an ad shows up in your feed and you try not to click on the site, but you just can't help it? Well, that's what happened when this cute cow showed up in my feed and I just had to check it out. I don't know why I'm drawn to cows, but I am and this one was too cute to pass up and it was very reasonable. This is definitely not sponsored, but you can find this cow at and it comes in other colorways.

I had changed out the bedding in here a few weeks before coming across the cow art and look how well the colors go together. I love these muted colors for fall. If y'all have been with me the last few years then you will recognize the checked bed skirt. I had come close to getting rid of it several times, but I'm glad I didn't. It goes so well with this duvet.

Everything I used I already had. The newest piece is the duvet and I used it when I shared the reveal of this room after painting the walls.

I'm still loving the new silvery blue walls.

A little cheetah is fun to use in the fall.

I filled the enamelware pitcher with dried hydrangeas from our yard.

Some old dried roses adorn this side table.

Here's a close up of the bedding and how the patterns work together.

Have you started decorating for fall?

Have a great week!

More fall rooms coming soon and don't forget I'm sharing on instagram almost daily.
