If you know me then you know I love to make a pretty bed. I don't know where I got this love for bed making from, but I'll see a new pillow, shams, quilt, duvet, etc. and then a light bulb in my head goes off and I'm creating a new bedding look in one of the bedrooms and this happens over and over. I just can't help it. I never buy everything new to create a new bed. I'll mix something new that sparked this new creation with some older bedding I have on hand and I have quite a bit from over the years. I have also let some pieces go.
Today I thought I would share some of my favorite bedding creations.

Oh, how I don't miss the brown walls in the master.
Same duvet cover on the bed I had before we got the new brass bed..
This post has been pinned quite a lot over the years. The Softer Shades of Summer.
And the twin beds are always fun to dress up, too.
This quilt may be going back on the bed soon. It is heavier and great for those cold nights.
There are so many more bedding ensembles, but we'll stop here.
I hope these bedding ideas give you some inspiration for your own beds.

I love all of your bedding creations. You must have a huge linen closet!
ReplyDeleteYour bedrooms are always perfection❣️ You never miss....
ReplyDeleteThank you for putting all of there beautiful bedrooms in one post. Now I won't have to search! I'm trying to decide on a queen or king bed in a guest room. What is your opinion? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI say whatever will fit and what you think your guests will be comfortable in. Of course king size bedding gets a lot more expensive. I have queens in our guest rooms.
DeleteAlso, I think a queen bed is prettier made up than a king. Thank you.
DeleteI Love all your bedrooms... each room & every season!
ReplyDeleteI pinned my favorite that I had somehow missed! We have had brown walls in our bedroom for 10 years. Think it may be time for a lighter color.
ReplyDeleteAll of them are lovely....yes indeed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful linens, every bed is made up just beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI misread your comment about the brown walls in the master and thought, "NO! What?" Had to reread it because I love the new color in the master! Whew! Ha! All of your bedrooms are beautiful. My favorite is the farmhouse when you use any combination with Navy! I also love the twins, especially at Christmas. You definitely have a gift for dressing a bed!
ReplyDeleteI love them all. You really mix and match so well! I agree with lighter paint colors making such a difference.
ReplyDeleteIt really is hard to pick a favorite because they are all so beautiful Kim! The bedscape you did this past summer (French Airy) in the first pic has to be one of my all time favorites though. I loved how it all came together with your new French iron bed.
ReplyDeleteAll so pretty but I actually do miss the contrast of the soft brown walls in your master with all the other accessories. And I especially love the dust ruffle in the pic labeled "French Country Master Refresh."
ReplyDeleteOh, I love them all! Especially since I just ate a big lunch and would love to take a nap. I can't even pick a favorite - they're all gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the French Country master refresh. They are always beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have beautiful bedding.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE them all!!! Love your style...so inspiring! =)
ReplyDeleteKim.. your master bedroom curtains are from IKEA? Which style and color are they?
ReplyDeleteNo, they are from Pottery Barn and no longer sold.
