Christmas Breakfast Room Table

12.22.2019

Well, there are only three more days until Christmas and I cannot believe how quickly it came up this year. I am having my family over on Christmas eve for dinner and I shared the French Country Christmas Dining Room last week. Today we're going in the breakfast room to see how I have set the French farmhouse table. I went very classic in here with red and green and a mix of patterns for the cloth napkins.

The table was kept very simple with decorations. Just a couple of large glass trees and some votives.

The plates are several years old from Target just like the other ones I used in the dining room this year.

I found the red and green napkins at World Market a few weeks ago. They didn't have enough of the red ones or the plaid ones so I mixed them with the green napkins.

The trees are from Pottery Barn and I set a battery operated candle under both of them and they sparkle a golden color at night.

I love the view of the tree and the glow of the lights from this table.

Not sure y'all noticed, but I had Mr. Savvy replace the light again. The black lantern did not put out good light and I tried to live with that, but I just couldn't. It created weird dark areas on the table. This new light is really bright and on a dimmer.

We are serving lasagna, salad, bread and dessert on Christmas eve and then I will also fix breakfast on Christmas day.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!

  4. Simple, but nice. As I was looking at your pictures & reading the captions, I noticed the new light fixture & wondered if I had missed your post about it & then your last segment explained about it. Ha. Everything looks pretty.
