Merry Christmas Bedroom

Since I shared the Mad for Plaid Christmas Farmhouse Bedroom a couple of days ago I figured let's go ahead and share the bedroom across the hall from it. Also because it's the next room that was ready to photograph.

When I found these euro shams I knew I needed to use them and they started the ideas for this guest bedroom. Actually I had planned on using them in the other bedroom, but then things changed when I found the plaid duvet and I knew it was more fitting for the farmhouse style bedroom.

Welcome to the Merry Christmas Bedroom.

The new shams called for some more colors being added with pillows. I had all the other pillows in my stash.

After moving the rattan bench out of the sun room, when I added the dropleaf table and chair, it landed in the bonus room where I had placed this French bench. So the bench moved here to the foot of the bed. Did you keep up with all that?

Decorative accessories that I already had were placed around the room.

Since I take pictures across a period of days I shot this one as the sun was going down creating these shadows.

To add more red I added this old pillow to the tufted chair. After taking down the cow painting, since it just wasn't going with my Christmas stuff, I hung this Santa face I have had for many years. I found this all white one at a local shop.

I used to have a red one, too from Hobby Lobby, but this white one is my favorite.

I attached this white French stocking to my vintage wooden fork or rake.

I didn't change anything in the hutch, but added a wreath, bottlebrush tree and sheep to the outside.

On this bedside table I added this white wonky tree and some cute birds that go well with the euro shams pattern.

I bought the little birds years ago and love unwrapping them each year.

The sign is a new purchase. The wall above the bed was calling for something and this one fit the bill.

It's supposed to be cloudy with rain on and off this weekend so I'll take more pictures of more rooms as soon as I can.

We have a family Christmas get together with the hubby's side on Saturday and my granddaughter's Christmas ballet recitlal is Sunday. Busy busy, but fun busy.

Y'all have a great weekend!

A Blue, White and Gold Christmas Bedroom

  1. Gorgeous room, Kim! I almost bought that same sign! In fact, I think I still have it in a cart somewhere...I love your cute little house on the table and that fabulous wreath on the cabinet. So pretty! Enjoy your weekend!

    1. Classic Kim! Love it! Thanks so much for blogging. You always brighten my day!

  2. Really lovely! I hope that you and your family have a wonderful weekend.

  3. So pretty Kim! I love the "Sleigh bells Ring" pillow and wonder if they came from Pottery Barn? I bought a glitter reindeer pillow in that size from the Pottery Barn outlet in PA about five years while on a trip and still use it every year.

    1. No that is several years old and made by a friend. Thanks

  4. Beautiful as always Kim. Love your caged Santo's. Happy Friday.

  5. So charming - love every detail.

  6. Kim, where did you get the new euro shams? They are gorgeous.

  7. I fell in love with those shams and tried to order them, but they are only available in-store. I was soooo disappointed since we don't live anywhere near a Pottery Barn! I'm still looking for something to inspire a similar look for my bedroom!

  8. Merry Christmas Kim, everything is so beautiful

  9. Very pretty, Kim. I love that you incorporate a couple new things with treasures you have owned for years. Realistic decorating that is lovely and inspiring!
