The Top Ten Posts of 2019

12.29.2019

It's hard to believe another year is coming to an end. Personally it wasn't a very good year for me, but hopefully 2020 will be much better with less to worry over. I'm super excited about some changes that will be happening to the house that I have wanted to update for some time.

Every year I look to see what posts were of the most interest to my readers and I share the top ten. Here are the top ten most viewed posts of 2019 starting with ten and working up to number one.

No. 10
Mr. Savvy and I went on a short road trip to tour The Cashiers Showhouse 2019.

No. 9
I shared the Southern Living Idea House 2019 from the pages of the Southern Living magazine last August before I went to tour it in person in November.

No. 8
Last August a Mini Kitchen Makeover Reveal happened with a can of paint and some new hardware.

No. 7

No. 6
I shared some views around the house and talked about Decorating With Antiques.

No. 5
After finding The Nall Farmhouse I just had to share it. I just looked it up and it finally sold.

No.4

No. 3
As you can see The Fall Sun Room looked quite differently dressed in blues.

No. 2
The best thing we did last year was painting the master bedroom. It has become my favorite room in the house and it's my sancutary at the end of the day.

No. 1
And I was surprised to see The Summer Styled Guest Bedroom was the most viewed.
I do love this duvet cover and just in case you are interested in it it's sold out and has been for quite some time. Looks like Pottery Barn would bring this one back since it was very popular.

Thank you so much to all of you who continue to read this little blog of mine.

Not sure how much I'll be blogging in 2020. I'll just see how it goes.

Be sure to follow on Instagram.

Have a safe and Happy New Year!

  5. Kim,
I have so enjoyed coming to your blog for inspiration and I hope you wont stop blogging anytime soon. I know 2019 was a tough year for you especially losing your Mom. Personally, it was a tough year for myself as well losing both my father in law and my husbands stepmother within months of one another. Coming to your blog offered me a chance to relax my mind and take a break. I always love seeing a recap of your most viewed posts each year.
I pray 2020 will be a better one filled with happiness and good health for you, your family and all your readers.

You bring so much joy and inspiration to others; I will pray that the new year brings you joy (I don't think you need much help with inspiration!) I'm looking forward to the changes you have planned for your home, even though I can't imagine how it could be more beautiful! All the best to you and your family.

  10. Kim, I wish you much joy and peace in the New Year. Not having parents is soooo difficult. May God's grace give you comfort in the times that you need. I am hoping that you continue to post. What I love about your style is that it is elegant but practical. For those of us that struggle with decorating you show how practical changes can be accomplished. I can't wait to see your new changes that are coming. I get so excited when I Iogg on and see a new post from you. Have a wonderful New Year. Marjorie

  11. I love looking back at my blog stats at the end of the year too (though this year I really can't as I swapped out my blog in Nov. and none of the stats transferred over). I can see why these posts were so popular; what beautiful photos to draw the reader right in!
