Mad For Plaid Christmas Farmhouse Guest Bedroom

It's time to start sharing my home decorated for the holidays. Sometimes I feel late doing this because so many bloggers were sharing all last month, but I just can't bring myself to do it before Thanksgiving. I did start decorating before Thanksgiving since it was late this year and I'm so glad I had most of it done early. If you follow me on facebook and instagram then you know my mom passed away last Wednesday. It is tough losing your mom, but I'm comforted knowing she's not suffering anymore and is in a better place. If I had not stared early I would really be behind.

Here's my mad for plaid Christmas farmhouse guest bedroom.

I am loving all the vibrant fun colors in this bedding. After Christmas all Ihave to do is put away the Christmas decor and the room is winter ready.

More Bedrooms at the Southern Living Idea House

I hope you've enjoyed touring the Southern Living Idea House. I shared the first part here and part two here. I just couldn't fit it all into one post as there was so much to take pictures of.
Today is the last post and it's all about the last two beautiful bedrooms.

This is the view coming into this guest bedroom.

Southern Living Idea House Part Two

The Southern Living Idea House had a lot of rooms plus outdoor spaces so that meant a lot of photos. I shared the living room, master bedroom and bath HERE and today I'm sharing some more of this beautful home.

Of course Florida living means enjoying the outdoors most of the year except I would not be outside when it's swealtering hot. This screened porch would be perfect this time of year. It can get chilly in north Florida and that fire would feel so good.

An Antique Table for the Sun Room

While on our trip, you know, I shopped. I love visiting The Plantation Shop on Amelia Island and have shopped there for years when in that area. We used to have two stores here in the Atlanta area, but they closed several years ago. One was very close to where I live which was not a good thing.

After Mr. Savvy attended his conference classes we hopped in the car and went to The Plantation Shop and then over to Fernandina Beach to browse the shops over there. We even played a game of putt putt.

The Southern Living Idea House Amelia Island

Hello! I'm back from a whirlwind trip and I'm drowning in laundry at the time I'm writing this.
Mr. Savvy and I went to Amelia Island, Fl. where he attended a conference at the Ritz Carlton. We have stayed there for other conferences in the past, but not since 2008 and it was nice to stay there again. We had two nights there and then it was on to the next stop, but on our way out we went to the Southern Living Idea House 2019 which was absolutely gorgeous, casually elegant and my style.
It was decorated by Heather Chadduck.

We were the first ones to arrive which was nice because I could take pictures without waiting for people to move. I grabbed this first shot right after we parked.
